Job Title: College Outreach Intern, University Partnership Program
Time Commitment: 4 hours a week for 6 months (with option to extend additional 6 months)
Location: Remote (requires consistent and stable internet access)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected undergraduate or graduate student—or recent graduate—to support our University Partnership Program. This intern will focus on expanding awareness of our academic offerings across college campuses by mobilizing student interest, identifying and coordinating with campus advocates, and supporting efforts to include our courses in college curricula. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with an existing network in student organizations, a passion for ethics-based education, and the initiative to take ownership of outreach efforts.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to promote Arihanta Institute’s course offerings to students and faculty.
Identify and build relationships with student leaders, campus organizations, and relevant academic departments across multiple colleges and universities.
Assist in developing student-focused messaging for emails, social media, and presentations.
Plan and support virtual events, including webinars, info sessions, and student panels.
Maintain a database to track outreach activity and responses.
Participate in weekly check-ins with Arihanta Institute staff and provide updates.
Qualifications:
Current U.S.-based undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate program.
Demonstrated interest in Jain studies, non-violence, compassion, or related fields (e.g. South Asian studies, religious studies, vegan studies, environmental ethics).
Active involvement in broad student networks or national student organizations, particularly those related to Jainism, veganism, animal advocacy, or non-violence.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Self-starter who is highly organized, reliable, and results-oriented.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
Prior experience and/or education in leadership, event planning, outreach, marketing, or business is a plus.
